Why Does God Allow Pain & Suffering?
In this third sermon of our “Explore God” message series, Pastor Hurmon addresses some of the most challenging of life’s big questions. In the midst of so much violence and injustice that we see in our own lives and the world around us, how can we understand not only why God allows such pain and suffering, but also where God is in the midst of our suffering? We live in a broken world, but when looking at God’s loving and merciful character and his responses and actions throughout the stories we learn from the Bible alongside our own lived experiences, we begin to realize that trusting and acting like God has for us is the way to bring his saving grace into the world and our circumstances.
